User Case: “How to use IPPO efficiently”
We are very glad to say that a lot of users around the world are using IPPO to study for JLPT, and one of the users gave us fruitful feedback about how to use IPPO.
Thus, we take this opportunity to share it with you with the objective of helping all learners for JLPT pass the exam.
By the way, for those who don’t know what IPPO is, please allow me to introduce IPPO which is a digitalized JLPT training platform. IPPO enables you to study for JLPT and all materials are digitalized.
Here is a user manual for IPPO.👇👇👇
However, in fact, you don’t necessarily have to follow this manual. That is because IPPO is created so that the user can choose the ways of studying in accordance with their needs.
There is no set way to use the application, so you can study for the test whenever you want and however you want to use it.
Let us introduce one use case. This user uses IPPO every day and has a routine on how to use it.
This platform, IPPO, is very easy to use, and normally, I follow this flow: 1)→2)→3)→4)→5).
From User Interview
It is very organized and I can use it intuitively. The structure of the questions was similar to the structure of questions on the JLPT, so I think it is appropriate for those who are studying for the JLPT.
Please follow this study flow if you don’t know how to study for JLPT with IPPO!
1) 8 minutes “Test”
After login, a Pop-up shows up and guides you to the test. It only takes 8 minutes, and this test includes 3 very important parts for JLPT: Grammar/Vocabulary, Reading and Listening.
Within 8 minutes, 3 different categories will be displayed and all you have to do is to choose the correct answer just by clicking the button.
2) Check your score
Plus, the favourite part of the “Test” is the review page. This page enables you to review where you got right and wrong.
3) Go back to “Dashboard” & Check “Pass rate”
After the “Test”, you can check “Pass rate” and “Ranking” which can function as a way of keeping you motivated.
The higher the Global score you get, the higher position you can be in the Ranking.
4) Do “Word”
“Word of IPPO is like a game and enrich your vocabulary with flashcards.
You can also choose any JLPT level without restriction, so you can be exposed to a large number of words.
This function can be used in places where it is difficult to open a book, such as on trains, as it allows you to study for JLPT by clicking the button.
5) Do “Training”
The “Training” function is designed so that more questions about your weak point are automatically shown.
This means that if you have a low score in listening, the training will automatically give you more questions about listening.
Positive Points of IPPO
IPPO is very easy to use. By clicking the button, I can study intuitively for JLPT.
From User Interview
Flashcards have been introduced to the “Word” function to keep me concentrated and interested. It is very convenient to be able to flip the Flashcard and to see Japanese and English translations by touching a button.
From User Interview
Since I found it difficult to have access to helpful Listening resources, IPPO’s “Listening” function was very ideal for me. The quality is very high.
From User Interview
Negative Points of IPPO
Sometimes I can’t understand the explanation which appears after answering the questions.
From User Interview
The “Training” isn’t divided into each JLPT category, and I have to study all categories even if I don’t need.
